Contact me to discuss commissioning a painting of your special people, pets and places!
I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting from Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University in 1973 and a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1980. After retiring from a rewarding career as a licensed clinical social worker, I enjoy painting, gardening and responding to the whims and dictates of my grumpy cat, Henry, and my exuberant Pomeranian, Jessie.
My favorite subjects to paint so far are children, animals, old friends and special places. These choices all share the challenges and pleasures of revealing ironies, whimsy and pathos with compelling form, light and color. I continue to grow and evolve in style and ability with each piece.
